Existing Sports Infrastructure

• Gymnasium Centre(GYM)

For students to stay fit and healthy, Students hostel are equipped with GYM equipment consisting of – 3 nos of Home GYM machines, Cable Cross Over machine, Range of Exercise cycles, Wide range of bench presses, Stepper cum Twister, Rowing machine and a Wide range of steel weight Plates, Rods and Dumbells.

• Table Tennis & Recreation Space

Dedicated space for playing Table Tennis. Student’s recreation room equipped with TV, Chess boards and Carom boards.

Upcoming Sports Infrastructure

IMU Visakhapatnam campus is on mission to provide dedicated facilities for following sports and games, which are under development stage: Sporting Excellence...
• A big playfield which can be used to organize Athletics (suitable to have 400 meters athletic track). All events related to athletics can be organized in this playfield.
• Dedicated playfield for playing Football
• Dedicated playfield for playing cricket.
• Dedicated playfields for playing Volleyball, Kabaddi, Basketball and Long Tennis respectively are under development stage.

Students Sports Participation

Students participate regularly in Inter Collegiate, Inter University and State Level Tournaments.
